TecArc’s OCTO Program provides the most comprehensive fixed cost “Outsourced
CTO Service” available. This plan provides an organization with all the
functionality and resources of a full time CTO for a
fixed annual fee that
is a fraction of the annual salary of an equivalent expert. With this
service any organization can benefit from the advantage of having a
dedicated highly knowledgeable technology expert without the usual cost and
staffing overhead.
Under TecArc’s OCTO Program, a highly skilled expert begins by providing an
initial two-day on-site infrastructure review, strategic planning, and
budget development session. During this two-day session the existing
infrastructure is examined and a technology plan and budget for the coming
12 months is outlined. Upon completion of this session the TecArc OCTO
prepares a comprehensive “blueprint” of the proposed technology plan for
the coming 12 month period that consists of: diagrams, outlines,
implementation schedules and detailed written explanations of the plan.
Upon final approval of the plan the TecArc OCTO works with the account’s
management and staff to implement the plan. Two (2) on-site
follow-up/review sessions are held after the initial planning session, one
four (4) months and one eight (8) months after the initial review and
planning session. The eight (8) month follow-up session is followed in
four months by another two-day review and strategic planning session that
is part of the next 12 month contract.
